Offroading in the Santa Fe area in February

I'm going to Santa Fe for a ski trip this weekend. I'd like to do some not-too-difficult offroading - I'm new to my JTR and to offroading and have only been offroad once, in nice weather. Any recommendations for a easy-ish offroad trails in the Santa Fe area that are doable in February? We're looking at lows in the mid 30s in Santa Fe itself, so figure it'll be freezing in the mountains.
