Good morning all!

Looking at a set of 17x9 Mayhem wheels that are -6 offset and will be going with a 37x12.5 tire. Question is - on a stock, unlifted (for now) Rubicon, should they clear for daily driving and also, does anyone have a similar offset and a pic showing how much they will stick out? Thanks in advance!

Check out this calculator tool:

http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

Put in your specs and it will tell you exactly how much a wheel/ tire combo will change multiple parameters from your current configuration - including how far they will stick out.

I used this to order mine and it ended up being 100% accurate.

Also, here is a good read on tire size guidance for Gladiators:

https://www.4wheelparts.com/the-dirt/what-tires-fit-on-the-jeep-gladiator-jt/

FWIW, I went with an aggressive ATx over MT since mine will see equal road time with my rationale being that AT’s will last longer and have better road manners (but still capable off-road).

Thanks for the post! I was hoping for an actual pic since I’m a visual type of person haha :)

Edit: also noticed the post at 4wheelparts is not entirely accurate as they state a 2-3" lift is required to fit 37's which we all know isn't the case.

I have 37s on 17x8 +30 wheels with no rubbing on the road.

Wow squeezed those on an 8" wide rim!
Discount tire says that they can go on 8” rims. I’m actually looking at different rims anyway that are 8.5” which would match BFGoodrich’s recommendation.

Yeah everything else is stock
How’s the rubbing? I did the fender trim and thinking of going 37x1250 KM3s with no lift and then address any trouble ares as I find them. i cant make up my mind on wheels so may try factory wheels while I shop.

I have had 0 rubbing on the road. I can turn the wheel fully left or right with no issue. I have not taken it off road with this setup, but I feel that it would definitely rub in that scenario.
