I have a gladiator rubicon. Thinking of going to 35’s. What backspacing and offset is recommended. I don’t want the tire sticking more than about an inch past the fenders.

You going with aftermarket wheels? How wide? 8", 8.5", or 9"?

I want to go with aftermarket (summer set and the factory set for winter). I figured winder than stock for the wider 12.5 inch tire Not sure what width would be best

9" wide wheel, go +12 on offset. You're going to have poke but minimal.

If you plan on lifting in the future, you want to keep back space at 4.5" or less. Majority of lift manufacturers specify this. A very small group say 3.5" or less back spacing.
