Do dealerships normally stock the diesel model or do you really need to order it online?

I happened to find mine in transit coming to a dealership near me. I called and told the sales guy I wanted it. When it (finally) came in I went by and bought it. I was lucky because it was everything I wanted except for the cold weather group, but I live in FL. The heated seats would have been great for my back pain though. I still ended up waiting almost a month. I also bought it in Sep of 2022.
