Afternoon everyone. Just picked up a 2021 Gladiator Mojave this past weekend and I'm trying to get settled in.
I've been watching the forum about since its inception, when I first heard Jeep was releasing a new pickup several years ago. I've had my CJ8 for about 10 years now, through three moves across several states in the west and a 2yr resto-mod, so the JT was a natural progression.
Hard to say which one I like best, probably the CJ for its simplicity and the fact it gets to stay in the garage all year without a top. LS engine, 4.5" RE lift, a few aftermarket touches here and there but otherwise a fairly OEM appearance. Build thread (probably missing a photo or two over the years) can be found here. Obviously lots of growth and changes over that time.
First thing I was looking to do with the JT was put in a new stereo - I have the Stinger kit on order and hope to get it in this weekend. I was planning to sell my OEM, but the first two offers I had for it were from people trying to get back to stock so they could trade in their Jeep. Since I'm not sure how long I'll have the JT, I thought it better to keep the OEM in a closet somewhere for a while.
Next step is some towers and a bike rack on the roof - I'm tall so it's no issue, and I'm not a fan of throwing a mountain bike in the bed. After that, who knows!
