Openroad Retractable Tonneau Cover thoughts

Has anyone had experience with the Openroad Tonneau retractable cover? Looking for something that has T-slots to mount low cross bars for bike racks. Don’t need anything too crazy. Just need to keep luggage in the bed dry while carrying bikes.

I have one. Its ok but not great. Installation is a pain and instructions are not great. Had to fiddle with it for a while to get it to keep out water near the tailgate. I do like the fact its more secure than the soft roll up cover I originally had.

Does it require the weird tab to be bolted to the tailgate to latch it?
