Hi all. New (ish) gladiator owner. Mojave. Loving it so far. Was thinking about switching out the stock non LED headlights and wanted to get the oracle oculus. Live in NJ so get some winter weather. Is it worth getting the heated version over non heated? Know they had some issues which I assume *seem* to be resolved. Any advice appreciated.

I had Oculus bi Led headlights in my JL and I recently installed them in my Gladiator. I am from the south so we don't typically see much snowfall. However, on one occasion I got caught on the interstate in heavy wet snow. It rendered the headlights useless after a while. Eventually, I had to stop at a gas station and clear the snow off. They don't generate enough heat to melt the snow and ice build up. I only have experience with the non-heated headlights.

Thank you! Assume the stock non LED lights would generate enough heat to melt snow? First winter with the gladiator. So sounds like heated assuming the kinks have been worked out would be the way to go.

Hey! Quick update that the OCULUS Heating elements have all been worked out. We recently had someone on the forum leave positive feedback too!

I would also like to know if it is worth getting the heated bi-led oculus headlights. I am from the wintery north. I deal with about 6 months of snowfall. The answer may be clear but I am still unsure about the extra 100$ if there are issues with the heating element
