I heard back from Oracle. They will be shipping a replacement asap.

Thanks to all who encouraged me to contact them directly.

Next question:
How do I lock this thread or maybe even delete it?

Thanks,
Sorry buddy… this thread will live on. I hope your lights treat you better. I love mine.

Well, I'm calling it quits on the Oracle tinted lights. I've only had them for 7 months and the right taillight was replaced under warranty due to the signal function no longer working and now the left taillight did the same thing. I'm not dealing with these garbage taillights anymore so in the trash they went. Yes, I know they are still under warranty but I've had enough.

Again, their customer service is pretty darn good but we shouldn't have to be reaching out so often for replacements. My recommendation to anyone looking at these -- Do not buy them. I won't be buying anymore oracle products so hopefully others have better luck and they fix their quality issues.

Update on my situation:

I got the replacement tail light super fast directly from Oracle. Thank you so much from them.
I was a little nervous about how it would work out since I did not buy the set directly from them, but it worked out fine.

I have not installed the replacement yet as I put the OEM's back on for a long trip. I hope to swap them back in sooner than later, maybe even tonight. it doesn't take long to swap 'em now that I've done it a few times.

Do you have any options you recommend then? I had the original oracle flush mount taillights, they went out after a couple years of use to the point where they were so dim I almost got rear ended. I’m back to stock led with bsm system and trying to find a suitable upgrade..

Welp, add me to the list of people who have had issues with these lights. Pretty disappointed, I was hoping the teething issues had been sorted by now.

I picked up a brand new set to swap in because I kept hitting my current taillights with my knee every time I used the corner step on the bumper.

They're replacing a set of ebay special no name brand (WinJet?) LED taillights that have worked flawlessly for the last 2 years, fit perfectly, had sequential signals, and ran me $200 bucks. And they looked good!

Well, they solved my clearance issue with climbing in the bed, but they've got problems.

Right out of the box, the fitment is off, driver side taillight sits almost a quarter inch off the body. Tried holding the taillight with my hand, adjusting the rubber grommet, and still no luck. The only saving grace is that my tailgate wrap helps hide it. For $400 bucks, I was kind of hoping that they would fit just as well as my other aftermarket lights.

Also, it looks like they might not be lighting up properly! One side is noticeably dimmer than the other.

Ironically enough, the driver-side running dim might be safer, it's hard to tell when the passenger-side turn signal is on.

But I think my driver side light is a dud.

@ORACLE Terry, could you help me out here?

I’ve been able to get warranty replacement on each taillight at-least twice . My 3rd passenger replacement is now completely non functional after receiving it in February. While it has they have been great at replacing I don’t think they are going to do it this go around. Luckily I have my old one that is just dim and may keep from getting ticketed.

I cannot bring myself to buy another set until they announce they have root caused the issue and have moved past this manufacturing defect. I am almost thinking of buying a cheap Amazon set for daily and just putting the Oracle set on when I go wheeling. But then I may have to bring the backup set to “get back home”.

very frustrating

Thank you for posting. There was an isolated manufacturing issue for a certain batch of JT Flush Mount Tail Lights (Part # 5882-504). This has been resolved and I ask that you check out our Product Update Page. Let me know if I can help in any way.
