Finally got around to installing the Overland Vehicle Systems SCAR 12K winch. It mounted up really easy and seems to be perfect for the steel bumper. Love it it so far! Hopefully never have to use it but we shall see.

I'm just saying that finding uses for the winch that aren't life concerning is the best part of having it. Maybe you got a tree you don't want in your yard anymore, you can change that. Got a neighbor you don't like? Even better.

I purchased mine from Amazon actually when it was on sale. I paid under $500 for it but they sale it different places. I also got the Rough Country winch plate to mount it on. I already had the steel bumper. Easy install and no issues.

I used the Rough Country winch mount. Super easy install and the plate seems solid. See link below:

I have used the winch four times so far. None for me and self recovery, all to pull others out and a tree from my front yard.
