Parking Brake

Anyone else have their parking brake lever brake? First time I’ve ever heard of one. The cable or linkage yes, 2-3 weeks to get a new one.

I've had the cables slip out of the yoke twice. Unbolted the center console and fixed it myself both times. It's kind of a pain but with a 10mm socket it's doable. Is that what you have going on? All of a sudden the lever just has no resistance?

According to the dealership, the lower part of the lever where it connects to the next component actually broke where it needs to be replaced.

I had it to happen to the Jeep last night. Both cables, left and right, came out of the yoke. Pain to work in such a tight spot especially for a big guy But got them in and re tightened.
