I managed to get an under-seat lockable box for a very good price. But need to get it rekeyed either to my truck key or another type of key. Talked to the local locksmith who said he would change it out if I can find the parts for it. Does Mopar sell the parts to have the box rekeyed or is there another place to find the parts. I haven't talked to the dealership yet if they have the parts. Figured I would check here first.

From what I understand, there are individual parts available yet. I found out with mine, that if I insert the key, then pull it out just a tiny bit, it will lock and unlock the box. I had to play with it a bit at first, but now I have the feel for it and works great.

If Jeep ever releases a replacement lock set up, I will do it, just so it easy for the wife or whom ever to use it. Or maybe then again I wont so I can hide Jeep stuff from the wife in there, hahahaha

Try @AllMoparParts.com here on the Board. Great to work with and Bennie will answer pretty quick.

I will say, if it's anything like the Mopar locking gas cap, it is easy to set up for your key.

I'll check with them. Talked to Jeep Cares and they said best to try the parts department at the dealership see if they have anything.

I tried my key in the locks and all kind of ways but no luck. I'll try again though

I just picked up a box locally and rekeyed it. I used the glove box lock assembly after drilling out the old cylinders.
Thanks for the info will look into it. Talking to the dealership they were not much help. Were new tumblers and springs required. I have a couple of the cylinders on order but it appears that they are just the cylinders

Were you able to key it to your ignition key or is it a separate key ?
You key it to your fob key it’s super simple the only thing we couldn’t agree on is if the black single pin goes in the front of the lock or the rear we have done it both ways and it works either way though
