PCM Reprogram??

Looking at a used 2020 Rubicon launch edition online that noted the following in the Carfax

• PCM reprogrammed
• Steering gear replaced

While I understood the number of 2020 steering gear boxes replaced by Jeep, is a PCM reprogram related to the steering gear. I thought it was a completely separate issue? I questioned the dealer and initially said I was not interested based on the PCM issue. The dealer came back and said the PCM was reprogrammed when the new steering gear box was replaced. BS or perhaps true? Thanks

The PCM reprogram is in fact part of the steering box replacement.
