I have a steel bumper in the garage waiting on powder coat. I’m ok with a scratch on my stocker lol

That’s the thing about going in a group, we can revel in your failure.I just saw this yesterday.
I’m interested in Pinyon Mountain but not sure I’m ready for that one yet.
The Mojave can handle it but the driver is the weak spot. ?
A good spotter and other drivers makes a big difference.https://maps.app.goo.gl/oy871EyBEgzUbMAe7?g_st=ic
meet up spot is at 10am. PM me if you’d like to go or post up here and I will let the bed-less jeep guys know ??
I’m in the same boat, working till 10 tonight but it’s all good.I don't get home from work until 10pm so let me see if I can swing getting the things I need together to make it tomorrow. I'll know for sure later today.
We are in. We will meet at the trailhead. Pretty sure I would regret passing up this opportunity.https://maps.app.goo.gl/oy871EyBEgzUbMAe7?g_st=ic

We’ll have plenty of recovery gear and tools in case.?A good spotter and other drivers makes a big difference.
I mostly go out alone so I have to be more careful of what I get myself into.
Going with a group sounds really good.
I'm an hour and a half away so it's very doable by that time. I don't get home from work until 10pm so let me see if I can swing getting the things I need together to make it tomorrow. I'll know for sure later today.
We missed you out there Kevin. That was a heck of a trail. Aside from some scrapes here and there we had a blast. Mx5red had almost no damage at all after the squeeze, they really found a good line in the end. I probably wouldn’t do that trail again, but it was definitely worth the hundred dollar fender.
Your fender scrape wasn’t real bad. You could almost repaint the white and smooth the black and make it hard to notice. Those plastic fenders flex pretty good against the rocks. Call em battle scars. ?We missed you out there Kevin. That was a heck of a trail. Aside from some scrapes here and there we had a blast. Watching the videos and hearing the fender smack that wall, I was incredibly surprised it didn’t exit the vehicle altogether! The Wrangler guys are looking at doing Big Bear in February, although I think we might have some late snow coming our way so we’ll see.Your fender scrape wasn’t real bad. I will hit that trail in the future, I just didn’t feel ready yesterday. Going out and observing it first hand was still a good learning experience. I’ll do some study online and go back again.
I’ve been watching some Big Bear videos too. Let me know if you guys go up there.
It did sound worse than it was. The fender flexed pretty good. I went down and checked it out and thought it wasn’t as bad as I expected.Watching the videos and hearing the fender smack that wall, I was incredibly surprised it didn’t exit the vehicle altogether! I’ll never forget this sound ?
Yeah that first drop is the scariest part cuz it's sooo steep and you can't see where you're going. The spotter's guidance is everything right there.Heart attack hill was very interesting, as it started to rain and traction was going away rather quickly. I was the last to go and it had me feeling worse than I did on the squeeze.
