Plasti dip tips?

I'm looking to use plasti dip on my rear tailgate badge. I've never used this stuff before and it doesn't look too difficult. However, it might be challenging with my Mojave badge because I don't want to lose the orange accent border. Does anyone have any tips on how to apply/tape/peel without it becoming a tedious task?

You can do the whole badge pretty easy.

Saving the orange bits will be a problem.

Wipe down with alcohol first
Use a fine line tape where needed
And peel tape before it dries

And it you screw up just let it dry, peel it off, and try again.

It's very forgiving to use
