Ok I will come to OPs defense on this one. When I got my 2024 RubiX I also did not know what that piece was for even with the picto graph until I saw this post. I was just too ashamed to admit it.
Thank you loganjeeps, there's hope for me after all!

I think we’ve all been confused by things that once explained we wonder how we didn’t see the answer. I’ve been embarrassed more than once by something like that.

Even more embarrassing my kids asked what it was for and I think I made something up, like it's a holder for the user manual :)

Mike, never say never, especially in a Mojave!
I didn't find one in my new Mojave - but then, this is Iowa, and I don't want bugs in my eyes or nose, so windshield stays up.

I'd still like to have it, though, to make it complete and for when I might have the windshield folded down for cleaning, or other possible reasons.

I'll have to look again, but so far, it's not there in mine.

Kinda hard to read the hieroglyphics that are used to tell what a part is for, or the controls inside, for that matter. When I travel and have to rent a vehicle, I specify a domestic one, so I don't have to decipher the hieroglyphics on the controls.
You mean like the duck mode switch?

Do you have Adaptive Cruise Control? If not, maybe that’s why there isn’t a plastic cover included. Just guessing.

Exactly. But I have one big advantage over the typical person: I am a compulsive reader. I actually read the owner's manual when I encounter something new to me. When I first started working in the dealership, I would read the service manual for whatever I was working on, including the theory of operation. I always wanted written directions in addition to the illustrations. Fortunately, Mopar service manuals were well written, back in the days of print. Now it is a hyper linked descent into chaos on Tech Connect.

Mine was in a big plastic bag that had the blue tooth player, the door removal toolset, and some other stuff in it. Hopefully you find it.
