Hey does anyone know if you can get just the clamp for the positive battery terminal? and if so what's the part number? Or is there another brand that I can get that is decent and wont melt under load :)
Was removing the clamps to test the battery and the tensioner part just fell out., must have been over tightened by the last shop that worked on it.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Check with Benny at allmoparparts here, a forum sponsor. Benny is fantastic to deal with, and will tell you up front if it's an individual part with a number, part of some stupid assembly, or whatever. And he sells cheaper than your local dealer would.
He's got a thread - "what can we do for you" in the sponsor area.

Otherwise, my comment is "ouch" and "I hope dealers stock that part - looks like something that might break now and then"

For now, I'd take the clamping bits off (the broken parts, etc.) and run a screw with nut sideways through the ends of that cable end to draw it together.

Thanks I will give that a try. So far online it looks like you have to get the whole positive battery wiring loom.
Yep it looks like the little wedge has a groove in the top exactly where it split, so over tightening may well cause it to split.

Ugh, hope you don't have to get the whole darned thing!
Benny can tell you - I know in the past he's said the "drawings" online are at times generic.
If you can get one, I wonder if a little of the silicone di-electric grease on things might lube it and help prevent a future problem.
You know this I'm sure - it doesn't take a ton of tension to keep it tight, a tapered post will take a lot before giving way.
