Possible Low Oil Pressure

My oil pressure always stays around 31 psi even when I increase RPM's. It doesn't go up and down like it does on my JKU when my RPM increases. Sometimes it will go down to 29 at Idle, never seen it go over 31 psi.

Is this normal? What are you seeing?

Two stage pump. Higher RPM should see higher pressure.
30 is about right for normal driving and lower RPM
Besides, 30 is more than needed to get oil to lubricate the parts. Pressure isn't what lubricates.

thanks ....just seems weird from what the JKU does...guess they changed the pump in this version of the 3.6.

2014 jku starts out at 98psi when I start it up..then drops to 70 after it warms up..then drops to 30-35. it also goes up and down with higher rpms.

The oil pressure almost doubles at 3K rpm. That is when the second stage kicks in.
