Problems with new Novsight Halo Pro lights

I bought a set of the Novsight Halo Pro 6" led lights. They seem decent, but the two pods are out of sync. I've tried everything I could think of, including holding the button for a long time, cycling through all the settings, disconnecting the power, leaving them disconnected for a long time. Nothing seems to work. These lights have a control box that is hard wired to the lights to make the different modes work. I called Novsight about 5 minutes after they closed, so I emailed them. I can't drive around with these things mismatched white and amber like this.

Well, Novsight support emailed me at 1:38 AM asking for pictures of my connections. I guess it was 13 hours later in China. I'm not sure what difference seeing pictures of the connections will make, but I sent them. Let's see how long they drag this out before I have to ask for a full refund.

I placed a call to Novsight customer service when they opened at 1100 AM and was promptly transferred to"Alex" in India or the Philippines or El Salvador. He keep asking me what vehicle I had and what color the wire in my Jeep was. I told him I connected the wires to my battery. He said he would open a ticket and someone would contact me in 24 hours. World class support right there!

Well, no call and no email today. I took some videos. You can see how the two lights are out of sync. These lights have a controller box built into the wiring harness, so you have to use the included switch. The switch has two buttons, one button that toggles the main light on and off, and a second button that toggles through the colors and patterns. I was hoping to use the aux switches, but it's not possible. The controller box is sealed and just use something like canbus to talk to the lights.

Sorry to hear you are going through this.
You're better off. They are possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. I sent them videos of my lights, and they said that they look fine. I guess the fact that when I toggle through the different colors and patterns, the fact that the two sides are different from each other doesn't matter.

If they are based out of China, they do it on purpose under the guise of "lost in communication" between language barriers. Dealt with something similar in that when you contact them through email or messaging, they run it through a translator from English to Chinese and when they reply back, reverse it from Chinese to English. Wording and context gets mish-mashed mixed up and it is like talking to a 4 year old when the whole time they know what is going on.

If it drags out, you may need to look at how you paid and if there is any recourse to do a charge back/refund but that brings in a whole set of different problems because they will probably lie when they go to dispute it.

Did you get your halo pro lights synced up? If not, click to turn on the halo ring button on the switch they provided. Once that is on, push and hold down the main light button on the switch and hold it for about 5 seconds. That will cause the lights to reboot and sync back up so they match like they are supposed to.
