I've had my eye on new bumpstops. More importantly I want to have a last piece of cushion before my axle might bend on a hard hit. Does anyone have experience with progressive bumpstops? Here are the ones I've found:

Teraflex ($100 fpr 4)
Jeep Gladiator Progressive Bumpstops. Let's discuss pqea6t6xszbjhtwnls5y

Timbren ($265 for 2)
Jeep Gladiator Progressive Bumpstops. Let's discuss M198641801

Generic Air/Hydro Bumps ($500)

I’m using the Teraflex jounce bumpers (first picture). I can’t say that they feel much different than stock, but they are slightly longer than stock, so they engage earlier and get stiffer before completely compressing.

Teraflex says that their setup will essentially add 1.5” of extra bumpstop. Their setup will not compress as much as factory according to them. Haven’t tested mine yet but I’m hoping it’s accurate.

I use the Teraflex, and I have hit a specific driveway to compare to stock. I'm very pleased with the results. I misjudged a drop off at too high a speed on my first run offroad, stouter bump stops went right to the top of the list.

Bending your axle requires a lot more than just crashing through the stops. Doesn't mean you wouldn't want to prevent undue wear and tear, though!

I misspoke, they won’t stop a bend but will soften that last bit for the smash. I’m leaning towards an airbump at the moment...
