did you sell the iKamper mini?
I did. I actually was going to sell the rack and ikamper and get a GFC or a Harker EDC.

I still plan on that route, but the ikamper sold quick and I decided to get a roam tent until my GFC/ or harker is made.

Yea I jumped the gun selling the ikamper but its fine, the roam was half the price and honestly its just as good. I’ve slept in it twice and its on par with the ikamper. Slower to set up and put away, but bigger when its opened. Hard shell vs soft…

If I was to do it all again, id go with the roam over the ikamper. I don’t think the 2k difference is worth the extra few minutes you save setting up/taking down, at least for me!

@Sonoran_Mohavey
Awesome build brother - thanks for sharing!
So you've had your Mickey Thompsons for a while now, what are your likes/dislikes. ?
Appreciate the kind words!

The tires… oh where to start.. I absolutely adore these tires.

* Aggressive look
* Not very loud
* 4k miles and still look brand new, wear is minimal
* Incredible in Deep snow, Mud, Rain, and even on ice.
* Solid grip off road

I have nothing bad to say about them. I’ll never run another tire on my trucks again.

On other builds I have ran KO2’s ( Great Tire), Falken Wildpeak MT’s ( Great Tire), Nitto Ridge Grapplers (Worst Tire I have EVER owned), and Toyo Open country MTs (Great Tire but too loud).

Interesting.
Are you still camping?
I will say, those soft toppers look great as does this iteration of your build.

I am! But I honestly didn’t use the RTT enough to justify the cost, weight, space etc.

I’ve got a proper Australian swag tent on the way that I will be using to camp with!

The day after I bought my jeep, I was showing it to my dad and I pronounced it "mo-ha-vey" instead of "mo-ha-vee". We got a good laugh out of it and now that's what I call this build.
“Mo hav vey” is correct. Mojave is a Spanish word derived from Indian words. “Mo hav vee” is an English mispronunciation.
