I have the Max Tow on my 21 Freedom and my experience was as follows with a Badlands 8.5k winch. It dropped probably 3/4" after install, after settling for a month or so probably closer to 1". Driving differences I noticed was that for one it really noses in more. Whether that is going over bumps or dips or braking expect it to nose in more then you moght like. But the real issue was front fender clearance. I run 35's May-October and started hitting the fender wells pretty regularly on places I hadn't before. I ended up installing a 1.5" spacer kit and problem solved. (I should of probably just done 1" as I don't have much rake as I prefer.) At the end of the day I have a rig that is just missing the fenders and front locker away from being a Rubicon. I'd personally look for Max Tow suspension, the ride quality to me is perfect.

I'll wait for your report on the Synergy along with the cost. Sounds like you are getting your money's worth out of your Gladiator.
The springs were the wrong ones. I'm going to have to reorder the correct part number, but they are sold out at @Northridge4x4 .
