Has anyone found quick release bolts for the hardtop that fit the JT? Ones where you can use the factory nut.
I would love to go to a thumb screw as opposed to the torx bolts but not seeing any that say they fit.

Figure out the thread pitch and diameter and buy some thumb screws or make some t-handles. Don't gotta pay a premium for a fancy schmancy spec bolt.

You made that sound so easy... Yet I wouldn't know how to figure out the thread pitch etc. Suggestions?

You can pick up a cheap thread pitch gauge at HF or Lowe’s. Then one you have the spec go to the hardware aisle. I prefer McMaster Carr hardware supplies.
You can always bring the bolt to the hardware store and use their pitch gauge.
Just make sure your replacement is rated the proper
Grade.
