Hello:
2022 Mojave here with 6k miles or so. I ordered it and took delivery back in the spring.
I'm newer to the Jeep world and I have a question.
My Gladiator makes a small thump at about 6-7 mph. Only after it has been stopped, parked and engine shut off.
Here is how it works.
- vehicle parked and off
- start vehicle
- vehicle put in drive
- acelerate at any rate and right at 6-7 mph I get a small thump. I can hear it, and feel it through the wheel.
- decelerate below 6-7 mph and accelerate, no thump.
- stop vehicle
- put in park
- put in drive
- accelerate, no thump
- stop vehicle
- put in park
- turn off vehicle
- start vehicle
- vehicle put in drive
- accelerate at any speed and right at 6-7 mph I get the small thump.
Happens after every engine cycle, but not with Auto start/stop.
It has done it since the day I brought it home.
It reminds me of an electronic ebrake disengaging.
Doesnt happen with my wifes JL, but she has the e-torque.
I have only driven two other gladiators, and that was before I ordered mine. I don't recall them doing this.
Thoughts?
