tazer fixed this for me. this was also a huge annoyance.
His point was that after seeing what the license plate lights did with the camera, he can't imagine adding long strips of really bright lights to the mix (he may have already used a relay or tazer to deal with the LP lamps)

It's not bad, however it's understandable that it's not for everyone. Some enjoy more pavement than trails. I have the Oracle flush lights on my gladiator (which some hate/love) which I've only had on for a few months and so far, so good, but I can't personally see these "racetrack" lights on mine. Too "flashy" for me, and I don't love how they plug in. I see how they would appeal to some, but aren't rugged enough, Jeepy enough or simulate Durangos/Chargers too much.
