Hey, just updating with a cpl pics, (for some reason I don't come on here much.) One of these days I might put a little build thread together. 5" ish lift on 40s, cuz I know you'll ask. 😆
Looks good bud!! While I agree that it doesnt 100% seal every bit of moisture from getting back there, I definitely think it helps a good amount. And pointing out the obvious, remember that the bottom corner is also open, so moisture/debris has the ability to make it up there too.
So what filler strip are you referring to that isnt water tight, the one that I use? Its definitely water tight. And for the vapor issue, dont forget that the area is still open from the bottom bed corners. And to each their own, but i dont think im using RTV on the body of my vehicle.
Yeah, i know 😔. But hopefully one day they'll realize this and come out with a new revision, (and hopefully lower the price too). But for now, just workin with what I have. 🤷♂️🤣
As a disclaimer, I cant say this will positively, absolutely fix every issue for every person, but I can say it has worked for us and others that have done it. You'll still get your naysayers (of course 🙄), but imo, it helps it work better, last longer and looks better. I, myself cant change...
Alot of people have inquired about what I have done to my Oracle Lighting JT flush mount taillights. Some people have expressed concerns about these taillights and others reading about issues with them, ultimately leaving them hesitant and purchasing them, even though they really like them. We...
Yes, that was me that started doing this and have mentioned it in several places, including in person when I happen to see someone with them. The wife and i both have Gladiators with these lights and the seal, and have yet to have an issue. I presented this to Oracle a while back and they...
I posted this awhile back, hopefully it helps some of you. We're a cpl years in now and still no issues with either one of our Gladiators. I wish Oracle would look into this as a fix and take it a bit more seriously. They're losing ALOT of customers because of these issues...
Just wondering if anyone has done a high steer kit (just flip kit and drag link relocation bracket, not knuckles) steer smarts specifically and also ran the autolynx? I was going to move to a high steer setup to get everything more parallel and horizontal, but steer smarts website says it cant...
I've definitely had these issues too, frustrated the hell out of me. Ended up disconnecting the battery for a few, and then it was just fine. kinda weird, but whatever.
I had the same issues on my 3.5 overland plus kit. After months of different shops, alignments calls to Clayton, every night underneath it making small adjustments etc., etc., it came down to simple drop/geometry brackets that fixed ALL my steering issues. Noone ever mentioned drop brackets...
Aaand that response from MC is why I'll be going with Clayton. Looking forward to working with Clayton so that they can let me in on all their little secrets so i can get my vehicle to ride and handle how i want it to. 😉😆👍
Hey guys real quick run down on my 21 mojave.
2"aev lift with gcb, replaced 2" spacer with hockey puck
17x9 -12 offset Black Rhino Alpha wheels
37x12.50x17 BFG KO2's with full size spare tucked underneath
Oracle tinted taillights with 3/8 rubber u-channel around the edges to fill the gap and...
Im considering switching to the clayton 2.5" coils front and rear, ditching the oem coils and aev spacers. Mojave with aev kit and 37s btw. Just wondering if the stock shocks are gonna play nice with the added bit of lift and different coils. Anybody have any feedback on this idea?
I installed a factory takeoff steel bumper and black rubicon skid pate with no problems or modifications. Used new fog light brackets from maximus. Utilized stock mounting holes from my stock mojave skid plates. (There is 2 empty holes for additional bolts for additional brackets, but i opted...
