Radio pin removal

I have a 21 Gladiator and was installing a Z Automotive front camera and think I put the pins In the wrong location. They say slide a paper clip in next location to remove pin but I can't seem to figure it out can anyone help.

I have a 21 Gladiator and was installing a Z Automotive front camera and think I put the pins In the wrong location. They say slide a paper clip in next location to remove pin but I can't seem to figure it out can anyone help.

Look carefully at the pin that needs removed, from both sides. There should be a small metal tab sticking out that keeps it held in the connector. The tab needs pushed in toward the pin enough to allow it to slide out of the connector. It may be easier to do with a small flat screwdriver.

Thanks for the reply Bill, I figured it out after staring at it for longer than I want to admit. When you pull out the locking red tab if you reach down that slot with a razor knife you can pull the locking tab back and out it comes. Got it moved to the right location and it now works.
