When I killed mine the battery wasn't full on the camper, and was probably lower on the van since I ran just the trailer lights for a bit. I wonder if this had been different if it was plugged in.
You mean if the camper was plugged in?
Depends on the camper wiring. If the converter is set up to bypass the battery, then plugging in the camper would stop the battery drain. If your converter actually acts as a battery charger, then both the camper batteries & the Jeep battery should charge.

hmm will need to look into that. Not sure how the battery is wired in honestly. Or maybe I will test it with a charged battery some day.
