.............so people with no or little income, especially elderly or home-bound, can keep their companions.
The show brought in $1,000+ and 500 pounds of cat food. Entry/admission was 1 unopened bag of cat food or free-will donation. Sounds like the free-will was willing.

I never expect the little Eagle to get any big prize - it doesn't exactly scream "come look at me!" like some of the hemi Challengers or Corvettes or Shelby cars or a iridescent purple Chevy roadster would.
But - top 15 ain't bad for a pretty plain stock car. (although frankly, some of the others were slightly modified new cars with fancy funky LED lighting and little else to make them "cool" - who cares about bolt on and plug in stuff like that?)

Beautiful Eagle and kudos to the windshield sunshade! ?
Thanks
The idea for that windshield shade came from a forum member. It's a bit large for the small windshield of the Eagle, is a much better fit - and more fitting - in the 73 Javelin.

Well, some may well be, so no one can say you are wrong.

As far as thoroughly confused, these days I don't have to read anything to get there.

I put a thing on FB about scammers trying to trick people into sending them money as registration for car shows.
A guy comes back and says "I never pay anything to enter a show, they should raise that by other means". Seriously, some people just don't get it. I was totally taken by surprise - really, a charity event and you won't pay? You'll accept trophies or free coffee or the comradery that goes along with such events - but won't pay?
