.............so people with no or little income, especially elderly or home-bound, can keep their companions.
The show brought in $1,000+ and 500 pounds of cat food. Entry/admission was 1 unopened bag of cat food or free-will donation. Sounds like the free-will was willing.
I never expect the little Eagle to get any big prize - it doesn't exactly scream "come look at me!" like some of the hemi Challengers or Corvettes or Shelby cars or a iridescent purple Chevy roadster would.
But - top 15 ain't bad for a pretty plain stock car. (although frankly, some of the others were slightly modified new cars with fancy funky LED lighting and little else to make them "cool" - who cares about bolt on and plug in stuff like that?)
