I am seriously considering this lift. I know some long time Wrangler guys that love their Rancho lifts. Lots of guys on the Wrangler forum seem happy with them as well. But I can hardly find any info on this forum or Youtube, regarding this lift. It is a 3" for the Rubicon. So I am guessing it is more like a 4ish" lift in comparison to other lifts. Their website says this lift will allow Gladiator Rubicons to clear 38s. I am not sure if I am going to run 37s or 38s, but i like the idea of having the option to do either. The Rancho D2 bushing look to be good quality too.

I like the lift because of the price and that it will handle 38s, without trimming fenders. I would probably go with the Rancho 9000 series shocks. Also, seems like a lot of guys have had good experiences with the Wrangler Rancho Lifts.

I am missing why no one is using this lift on their Gladiator? Or are some of you using this lift?

I had Rancho 9000s on my JKU I liked them but they rust with the road salt and calcium chloride they use in my area. The adjustability is cool, Rancho makes really good geometry correction brackets too.

Thanks for the input. I am in California so Rust is not really an issue for me. But it is good to know.

Rancho 9000's and 7000's have been around forever. I had them on my 1989 S-10 blazer (lifted) and on my 1987 K5 Blazer with 6" lift. They rust out quickly (Michigan winters). They always replaced them free of charge. Don't have anything negative to say about the ride quality, but they did rust out quickly back in the day.

Anyone with this lift have issues with the passenger side spring bowing backwards? Driver side is perfectly straight.

Thinking about just rotating the spring. Wont be on the isolator perfectly but should get rid of the bow, at least partly.

Passenger side coil is rubbing the bump stop on the axle side.

It's a somewhat common issue with any lift coils.

The solution is new coil pads, something like these:

I just tried rotating the spring away from end of isolator. Just moved where the bow goes. As if the bow turns with the spring. Then I moved the isolator further towards tire and spring with it fully contacting isolator end. So opposite direction of first trying to rotate spring. No effect. Hits bump stop extension no matter what. Sucks because the Jeep tracks so straight and smooth. Better than stock.
