Re-adding the OEM Rubicon rear rock sliders after a Fab Fours bumper install

So this is for anyone that has these rear rock sliders on their truck. As part of the Fab Fours rear bumper install you need to remove these. The thing is these have a welded bracket that is used for the OEM bumper to bolt onto. However without them the empty plate looks ugly and frankly like something is missing.

I gave them to a buddy as I suspected if the vertical bracket was lopped off they would fit perfectly again. Low and behold here you go!

This may work for other aftermarket rear bumpers too but it for sure works with the lifestyle Fab Fours! The first pic is the original with the backet on, the other two are after it was cut and ground and I think looks perfectly nice back on the truck..

I have to tell you I am a fan of the rubicon rails. I know when properly attached it sure did save me from lots of damage this weekend when someone clipped me as I was making left hand turn....pics are my damage and the car that hit me....

I am sure they are not as strong on mine with the vertical bracket cut and not mounted to the OEM bumper, but frankly I like the look of them and it's got to be better than nothing
