on both the JT & JL forums (search something along the lines of mushy brake pedal). There is some conjecture that this mushy brake pedal is caused by poor design of the oem brake lines (something about them expanding too much if I recall) and Grimm was one of the brake lines suggested to install to help avoid a repeat of this again in the future.
The steel/metal brake lines won't expand, they can't expand.
The rubber lines aren't going to without broken cords.
I'd really discount that as a possibility.

Just a few points to consider:

Maybe you can get away without doing an ABS power brake bleed, you can only try and find out and let us know if you have any issues since it seems there's a few different opinions on this matter.

With this being said I do know for a fact after an 'ABS' activated incident that you can sometimes get the dreaded mushy brake pedal which does require an ABS powered brake bleed to fix. This past winter my ABS engaged when I hit some ice and started to spin out. Since then my brake pedal has been mushy although the brakes still work, but the pedal sinks more than I'm comfortable with.

There are several threads that address this on both the JT & JL forums (search something along the lines of mushy brake pedal). There is some conjecture that this mushy brake pedal is caused by poor design of the oem brake lines (something about them expanding too much if I recall) and Grimm was one of the brake lines suggested to install to help avoid a repeat of this again in the future. In order to perform an ABS brake bleed you need to activate the ABS pump while bleeding the brakes which requires a device to activate the system, but you can certainly do this yourself if you have the correct tools. The dealership is a waste of time and most likely won't perform this for you.

I haven't dug far enough into this yet to figure out if my Tazer mini is capable of activating the ABS for this or if I need to just buy the device.
My and gets used several times per winter. My pedal never gets soft after.

also, I’ve read that you can bleed your abs system by engaging and on purpose.
