Rear Drive Shaft Question

Was under the Jeep...how many stories start this way.

I notice my rear Drive shaft veers off to the driver side. This due to rear axle off center or perfectly normal? On Mopar 2" and stock rear track bar.

I planned to check a stock gladiator on the dealer lot, but don't have any in the lot!

I've observed that with CARS and other trucks over the years.
Engines in Eagles, for example, are offset to the right just a bit due to the front differential and the driveshaft running right up nice and close to the left side of the engine, so the driveshaft to the rear is at an angle to the side.
My guess is that if I crawled under my WJ and checked, I'd find a similar offset to the side under it.
Can't hurt to compare, see how they are in other JTs, but I'd not be surprised to see an offset.

I'll take a look. I was more taken back that it doesnt have regular U joints. When did we get rid of those?
