Oh I completely understand. If people always used them like the zipper method, it would be great. But, people either line up in the lane they need to be in, or try to shove more than one at a time from the merge into the main lane.While I don't agree with not using turn signals and cutting people off, most people have no clue how to correctly use a merge lane. If the merge lane is empty before the actual merge point, then it isn't being used properly. If the merge lane is moving faster than the rest of traffic, get on over there and use it properly.

Like always, things are great ideas on paper as long as everyone plays ball. But not all humans play ball, and they ruin it for everyone else.
