Rear seat fold out Platform non-seat removal Question

So has anybody built a fold out rear seat platform with out removing the rear seats. something similar to what is on the Dodgeram. Just looking until I go down the route or designing something that possible includes storage that is lockable. Its main purpose if for the Dogs but I need the seats to stay installed.

Op...I know this isn't exactly what you're referring to but, since you mention it's for your dogs, this is my solution:

Obviously, it's used with the seats down but I've found it works really well with my Golden Retriever and Pit-Mix. It even had orange trim which matches my Mojave and at $39 was pretty cheap.
