Hi All,

There are some Black Friday deals to be had and it has me considering a wheel change. I have been running US Wheel solid steel wheels for the last four years, which I love but are heavy and prone to rust.

Was thinking of either the fifteen52 Analog in black (will need to repaint) or Black Rhino Recon in OD green, which I think are discontinued but I might have a set lined up...thoughts?

Its really up to what you're looking for style-wise. The 1552's are sweet, but IMO are a bit too similar to your steel wheels. The Black Rhino's are cool, but I doubt the color will be a close match to your Jeep. If you are willing to repaint as needed, then the style is really all you have to decide on. Between the two, Id be looking at the Black Rhino's. The 1552's are a bit too classicy looking for me and I feel like they belong on a square body chevy or something along those lines.

The analog's are one of my favorite rims from 52 and they have a nice 35% off sale going on right now, so that helps put some of the paint budget back.

Honestly, I would buy a new set of black 52's at the discount.

Yea exactly…the sale is enticing and puts them where I am willing to spend.

Appreciate all the feedback. This is a bit of an impulse purchase at the moment lol.

cheers

1552's look sweet but I try to avoid black wheels because details are hidden and even in pictures, they just look like a black blob to me unless there is perfect lighting.

Well...that was a quick decision...$1244 out the door for five fifteen52 Analog wheels is way too good to pass up. Not a fan of black either but I had plans to repaint them anyhow.

On top of that, the Recons appear to be discontinued and unavailable anyhow.

I will have some bronze steelies up for sale soon! lol

Cheers

I went with the Black Rhino Solid. They are at the store and I can't put them on with the 37s until I am lifted. This is a Solid wheel with a blue stripe painted on. It's also a more narrow wheel than can be currently ordered. They weigh 29 lbs each.

Another option is the KMC Roswell if you can still find it. This one was powdercoated to match the Jeep. 26 lbs each.

In all honesty I think they're both ugly. But if I had to pick I guess the 52s
Appreciate the feedback. I know they are not for everyone but I think I have the right build for them. I get compliments all the time on my solid steel wheels and these are similar ;-)

I will certainly post some pics!

cheers

All depends on your build. Running the analogs means you have to match the rest of the truck to it. Just like shoes you wear. I vote analogs

I’d go with the 52’s. You’d likely be able to find some Chevy Rallye rims and powder coat them as well.
