EVO confirmed that they will be offering a rear tire carrier like the one shown on their Gladiator. My question is how would one maintain the use of the rear camera if it's blocked by the tire? Obviously the tire would swing sideways and the tailgate with the actual camera opens downward. Any ideas of how to keep camera usable? EVO hasn't answered yet.

They’ll have to make a relocation kit with a wiring harness. It’s doable IMO. It’s just a matter of when.

A jl camera cable extension cable is made already, the cable is for the swing away spare tire. There is also a camera extension mount.

Camera usability is an issue, but that will/can/already is resolved based upon some of the other contributors. I love the idea but I'd lose a two stall garage as I'd have to park on a diagonal to fit. I think I need the name of a good contractor to extend my garage into the formal dining room at this point. Are you guys parking outside? All 3 of my Jeeps are garaged currently. Guess I don't have a choice in this matter either as my darn HOA doesn't allow the 16 houses in my neighborhood to leave vehicles outside at night! (Not that I would anyways!)
