Remove Stock Bumper Piece

Sport with max tow, 2" Mopar lift and 35s. My tires are rubbing on this piece. Can it be removed without the fenders or bumper wings flopping around at highway speeds?

yep just remove the air dam and the panel holders and comes right off after like a few bolts took me like 20 -30 mins then just put the air dam back in and your done. easy is you buy a panel tool

Did mine today, I just removed all the bolts holding the piece including the 7mm bolt and two plastic push pins / clips. The bottom air damp or skid whatever the name is, is flexible enough that you don't have to remove it. Just bend it out of the way and you could pull the pieces out it won't break.

I also traced the bumper cut those pieces down with a Dremel sanded them to hide behind bumper and reapplied them to cover the Fog lights worked great

Cut the exposed section out with a sharp utility knife and reinstall to protect lights and look more finished.
