Replace plastic parts from steel rubicon bumpers

Has anyone tried to replace the plastic parts of the steel bumpers front and rear? The steel bumpers have some inlaid plastic parts in them.... I was wondering if anyone had creative ideas of metallic replacements for them...

Curious idea. I have just been waiting for a steel bumper for sale because someone upgraded (for the right price of course)
