Replacing a starter

Hey Fellas -

Anything I need to know when replacing a starter? This one is shot. Only 2500km

Disconnect the battery and then take out the two bolts holding it in? Think one other wire as well?

Not that you cant do it yourself…but why not have it done under warranty? No reason it should have failed already

It’s in my driveway haha. Or more accurately - outside of my house on the side of the road!

new starter is mid November apparently

so I’m hoping this one can be rebuilt in the meantime
