They are electronic buttons, so something is definitely possible. I haven’t seen anyone do something with them but a start would be to take the upper console apart and see how the buttons engage.

Most likely they're single wires going to the computer, could be disconnected under the dash somewhere and connected to something else. Probably need a relay to handle any real current and/or to latch something on/off. Unless somebody already sold a replacement switch block to replace the momentary buttons with rockers or click on / click off.
