Disconnect the ground wires on the side wall so that both batteries are disconnected. Let it sit about a half hour, and then reconnect everything.

Thanks, dropped it off at dealer, will call them in the am

Then i have to figure out why it’s not working. They mentioned a bulletin with the rear view mirror? (Maybe connected to my SOS button?)

They showed me the fuse (97 i think) to pull... looks like this is a major issue with other people too

We had the exact same problem. We just got our Cherokee on Tuesday. I called in to Sirius XM Guardian to sign up, and they said the last thing I needed to do was call the SOS to do a test. Could not get connected and would not turn off. Called to get assistance and they said take back to dealer. We did disconnect battery as mentioned here, it did nothing, but we did leave disconnected until next day. Before we left to dealership, we tried one more time to stop the loop by pressing and holding down the SOS button for 5 secs located on mirrow and it stopped. It requested us to use the assist button and we entered the requested information. Afterwards we went to test the SOS button, it did call in, but the agent could not hear us, so it is still going back to dealership but can wait until next week. There must have been a software problem. Ours was just built as it was ordered. Also there were two phones attached to the music. Being the Jeep was built for us, it should not have had anything attached. Would love to know if devices were attached to other new Jeep.

Jeep Gladiator Mojave 2020 with 8.4 . . . I can confirm what Pscobee posted here. We ended up in the SOS call loop and tried turning off, getting out, locking, remote starting with key, getting back in, turning off, getting out, remote starting with app, etc. Waited about an hour and a half, and still in endless SOS call loop no matter what . . .

Came here searching on problem, and pulling F97 fuse for radio solved it.

*Note - once we placed fuse back and started up again, we lost backup camera and forward trail cam for about 8 hours or so . . . just showed blue screen instead of cameras with "camera not available" message. Next morning, cameras working again.

My saga update is that I was told I have no firmware and need the dealer to flash my unit. Haven’t taken it in yet, hopefully next week it might get fixed.

we were told by the dealership, the reason we were not able for the agent at SOS to hear us had to do with Covid 19 and agents working from home, that the connection are not good. As of today, I do not feel it is worth the membership. My cellphone can do what it does. Good luck with your problem.
