10 demerits for using the word "journalism" with such blogs, and that's really all they are these days.
Interesting to note that if you looked at 3 or 4 of them, at times you'd find the same articles, only very slightly re-written. They search the web for stories, make them their own, and post them. Sometimes their source is another such blog.
Gone are the days of real journalism - especially investigative journalism, especially when it comes to automotive stuff.

I call that "Circle Jerk Journalism" were everybody short strokes and feeds off each other and just parrots with almost no original comments and talking points of their own.

There is a theory called "The Dead Internet Theory" that basically states most human based original content on the internet died around 2016-2017 and about everything past that is being majority driven by AI produced or influenced content. I suspect many of these garbage articles are just that and the bylines listing an author as the original content creator a ruse.
