That looks like one of the best out of the box systems that allow racks and a tonneau. Do you have any sense if the factory tonneau work with this system? Also, I'm curious about ordering the taller rack bars. I'd like to be able to put my SUPs and surfboards on top with my factory soft top folded down. That mechanism stands up several inches above the roof line and I want to be able to clear it with boards on. Were you able to find the dimensions of the racks for different trucks or did you just talk with them on the phone and figure it out that way. Great looking rig by the way.

Not a clue.

I passed up a killer deal on an alucab because I wanted the continuity of the soft top profile over the bed and also needed a rack for business. I also had to be able to access the bed from the side, and fold open the topper from time to time.
I wanted my cake and eat it too, lol. Had seen a couple custom racks which could do that (and probably better than what I have now) but was confident and determined it could be done with what is commercially available, so yes; persistence and determination.

I bought the Gladiator Adarac and pulling the uprights of of the box they looked short. They were also labeled Gladiator/ Tacoma. Taking it out to the truck confirmed I could not mount something on the rack without it contacting the soft top.
Called Adarac and told them the problem which they had no answer except to say they likely used a hard top to spec and that probably sits lower. So I asked which rack had the tallest uprights and they said F-250. I could not exchange just the uprights so had to send the whole thing back to RHRSWAG which facilitated a seamless refund and purchase to the extent they graciously applied the holiday discount to the new rack well after the fact. (They're a great business to buy from though it did take a few weeks to get the first rack.)
An added bonus is that the horizontal F-250 bars are wider which allowed me to offset them and mount a storage tube far enough to the side so I can still drop the top.
It's my daily work truck (construction plumber) and I appreciate going home topless after a day's work.
Great looking rig by the way.
Thank you! I've been fortunate to make it all work the way I wanted!

Not a boat, but a couple of kayaks. They rise enough to have the sterns over the tent partially.

I’ve got to say, this is one of the best looking setups I’ve ever seen. Great rig. Great color. Great mods. Great gear. Doors off. Total badass, my friend.

Thanks for the response, that’s super helpful. I may just order one of their integrated rack and Tonneau kits, but see if they’d be willing to substitute the taller rack bars. For what I want to do, this seems like the best product out there.

This company has a "Pro" version with straight vertical uprights. Make sure you look at those too.

One final question: did you have to drill your bed rails to install the side Adarac Utility Rails? I have Trail Rails on my Gladiator, and there seems to be a version of the system specific to that, but the installation video only. shows drilling the bed rails of the truck. It’s not clear if there is a way to install the Adarac Utility Rails using the OEM style Trail Rails. Thanks again!
