3 months ago I bought my first JT. 22 Overland 3.6

It had some “upgrades” when I purchased it and for many obvious reasons I’m not happy with. 2.5” Rough Country level kit. Best I can tell, it has the kit that comes with spacers, shocks, sway bar links and bump stops.

I plan on upgrading, haven’t decided on brand but I know that Rough Country has never been a great choice.

my issue is, I want about 2 more inches of lift than what it has but I can’t find any info on how much the RC kit actually gives it. I see pics of other builds with a “2.5 inch lift kit” that look way taller than what I have. Does anyone know how much the lift RC kit actually gives it. I just want to know roughly how much height I will have before I choose a lift.

also open to suggestions on a bang for buck lift. Running 35s with a winch bumper, 12k lb Traveller winch. Will eventually get a half bed rack with an overland tent for overland style camping.

I have a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon and I installed the RC 3.5" likt kit. It came with new springs front and rear and the front track bar. I also purchased the rear track bar, front control arm relocation kit, dual steering stabilizer with the V2 shocks, and V2 front and rear shocks. I also run 37x12.5R17 tires with no issues. This kit is good and the ride is the same as stock.

Good info. Do you have a pic you can post?

If the kit came with 2.5" spacers, you got 2.5" of lift. There's no way around that. Spacers are spacers. If you're going to do a true decent lift, please steer clear of Rough Country products. Spacers are fine, they're just pieces of metal. Even RC can't screw that up. Their shocks and joints are garbage though. You'll be wishing you purchased something better in the long run. Buy once, cry once.
