I’m looking to adding some molle panels to the outside of the gull wing doors and some rear Chase lights (KC flex era 1) to the rear corners.
Has anyone done similar modifications to their Smartcap requiring drilling thru the shell ( or not) that can give me any tips or lessons learned?
I know about seasuckers and I’ve considered those super magnets and those may be a solution but just trying to check all options.

I would not drill through the shell. I would only try attaching molle panels if it has metal doors. The magnetic mounts should work for the lights. I have a roof rack on mine, and plan on attaching lights to it.

Thanks Bill.
Yes I have the adventure series with solid gullwing doors. That is where I’m contemplating attaching the molle panels.
I do like that, although the shell is stainless, magnets attach firmly. Will definitely utilize X-heavy magnets for any lighting needs inside out out.
Yes, do not want to drill through shell. Do have molle panels around the inside of the truck bed for other storage options. I am installing an American Adventure Lab frig slide and a couple of 6 inch drawers.
Should have plenty of storage options.
