RSI SmartCap broken glass

Hi @SmartCap I have a problem.

I have a SmartCap Evo (I believe that's what its called). The glass shattered on the driver's side gullwing door. I don't know how, I just went outside one morning and it was broken. My driveway cameras show no break-in, no vandalism, no animal activity, no aliens, no weather, no anything. It just cracked under it's own stress I guess.

So now I have the problem of replacing that glass and/or door and no one wants to mess with it. Your own customer service team sort of started to help me out but now it's just radio silence. Emails are going unanswered and I'm sitting here with a very expensive bed cap with a giant hole in the side of it. And to add to that, you're halfway around the world so I have to wake up at 4 am just to call someone...if they even answer.

So maybe this message will get some attention. I just want my cap fixed. I even considered getting "defender" doors because having glass isn't important to me. But those will take 6 months? LOL. What kind of operation are yall running?

Also, for the rest of you, if you know of an alternative to mount glass or plexiglass in one of these things, I'm all ears.

Check out your local commercial glass fabricators. They should be able to fab something up with auto glass (laminated) that could work.

So I've been instructed to buy another glass. Okay, to be expected. Hey great it looks like there's a vendor a few hours from me. Glass bought several days ago....not a single update about shipping or ETA or anything.

And if I ever get it I still gotta find someone to install this weird thing.
