Yes, I made a template out of cardboard first to get the curve and corners right. The board I used was either 3/4” or 7/8” thick. You should be able to find it at a local lumber yard. It’s a specialty plywood, either Baltic Birch or phenolic-coated birch plywood, whichever you can find.
