I have the smartliner bed mat, but before I got it, I had a 48” wide rubber floor mat for temporary protection of my painted bed. With the smartliner installed, I left the floor mat under neath but pulled out to cover to the end of the tailgate. It is not attached to the tailgate, but does provide protection from scratching the paint and also bridges the gap between the bed and tailgate. The only down side - if you can even call it that, is that it is 3 -4” longer than the tailgate when the tailgate is closed, so it has to be rolled over under the tonneau when I close the tailgate.

They mean nope because the thread is about a rubber mat for the gladiator TAILGATE. Most of the posts I received here just send links to the generic auto sites for the rubber truck bed mat. As noted in the original post, already have one of those. Looking for a custom rubber truck bed mat that isn't WeatherTech.

Thanks, but unless I'm way off those are universal fit rubber tailgate mats that require trimming, was looking for a custom one made to fit the Gladiator. Regardless since there's been a lot of debate here I think it's safe to say that unless you want a BedRug or WeatherTech one, they don't have a custom fit one.
It looks like you are correct. No rubber ones that are custom fit. If a person can cut straight, they could make it look custom. It's not rocket science we're attempting here.
