Rubber winch stopper

I installed the Hypertough 12k winch a few weeks ago and thought I would install a rubber winch line stopper on it. All the stoppers I find have a 1/2" hole, and my line is closer to an inch. Does anyone know of an alternative that will fit?

I would just use a 1" hole saw to enlarge the hole.

The other end of your winch line should be small enough to fit, unspool and slide it on.

It's a 2 piece stopper so I wouldn't have to unspool. That would leave it about 18" from the end though.

You could slide the sleeve off and get it right next to the loop, but that's probably more trouble than it's worth. The winch thimble on our 2022 JLUR came with a built in rubber stopper that's slotted to clear the eye loop.
