Has anyone mounted a steel Rubicon front bumper on a Willys? Any fitment issues? Looking at buying one used and mounting it. Just wondering if there are any roadblocks.

ANY front bumper from a JL or JT will fit ANY JT.

The differences come in on the skid plate that goes with each different bumper.

Yes, if the bumper you're eyeing doesn't come with the skid, don't buy a takeoff from a Rubicon plastic bumper. You'd want the skid for the steel bumper.

True, and also the JK front bumpers fit too.

I have heard of instances of needing to do some trimming when using a JK bumper, so I don't add that info. I know the bolt setup is the same, but something about the frames being different.

I mounted a JK 10A steel to my Overland. I bought a Quadratec winch and mount... all that went on great. The issue is a JK steel skid for a JK steel bumper will not fit on the JL/JT because the mount points are different. A JL/JT steel skid doesn't line up with a JK bumper.
